The Faculty of Sport Science of YSU held Handball Coaching Clinic on Thursday and Friday (28-29/5/2015). It invited two International handball coaches, namely Ahmed Fikry Said from Egypt and Marc Michel Teixeira from France.

Handball Coaching Clinic was a cooperation event among the faculty of sport science, Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Sport Science and Office of International Affairs and Partnership.

The event was openned by the Vice Dean II of the Faculty of Sport Science, Drs. Sumarjo, M.Kes. In his speech, he said that the Coaching Clinic is important to develop this potential sport in Indonesia.

It was held for two days. The first day was indoor agenda led by Saryono, S,Pd Jas. M. Or as a moderator in The Main Meeting Room of Academic Service Center Building of the Faculty of Sport Science. In this agenda, Marc Michel Teixeira introduced Handball sport from its history, regulation, and some videos about the kind of sport.

The second day, the practice was held in Sport Hall of YSU with the two International coaches. They coached 60 students of the Faculty of Sport Science and Postgraduate Program. In this event, the two presented basic technical matters and closed with simulation. (didik)
