The Center Committee of SBMPTN (Joint Admission Selection of State Universities) along with rectors and vice rectors held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) of the result selecation decision from 6-8 July 2015 in Century Park Hotel. It was participated by 74 public higher institution and opened by Muh Nasir, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia.  

 
This year, the Joint Admission Selection of State Universities was held on 9 June, writing test, and 10-11 June, skill test. They were announced on 9 June at 5 p.m. Prof. Dr. Rochmat Wahab, M.Pd., M.A., the Rector of YSU, as the chief of the committee, led the discussion accompanied by Prof. Dr. Werry Darta Taifur, M.A., the Rector of Andalas University, as the secretary of the committee. Rochmat Wahab also monitored the applicant selection decision of each public higher institution.

During the three-day-discussion, on 7 July, the committee discussed the security of the selection with Comr. Gen. Badrodin Haiti, the Police Chief. The Forum Group Discussion was held until 8 July along with the data submit to each higher instituion. The next day, the selection result was announced as online. Rochmat Wahab, then, held a press conference in the building of General Directorate of Higher Education. It was accompanied by General Secretary of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia as well as Chief of Indonesian Higher Institution Rectors Forum. (Nur)
