Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta will inaugurate two professors on Saturday (7/11) at the UNY Auditorium. The two professors who were inaugurated were Professor of Applied Linguistics Prof. Dr. Sulis Triyono, M.Pd. and Professor of Modern Literature Prof. Dr. Wiyatmi, M.Hum from the Language and Arts Faculty. At present, UNY has 164 professors.

Sulis Triyono is a lecturer in the German Language Education study program at the Faculty of Languages and Arts. Sulis Triyono completed his undergraduate program in the field of German Language Teaching at IKIP Yogyakarta in 1985, received a master's degree in the field of German Language Teaching at IKIP Jakarta in 1997 and received a doctorate in Linguistics UGM in 2015. Sulis Triyono has also produced many scientific works at the national and international.

Meanwhile, Wiyatmi is a literature lecturer at the Language and Arts Faculty. Wiyatmi completed her undergraduate program at UGM Indonesian Literature in 1988, obtained a master's degree in Indonesian Literature at UGM in 1996 and obtained a doctorate in literature UGM on 2012. Wiyatmi has also produced several scientific works both at national and international levels. (Dedy, Tj.Lak)
