Imam Muchoyar, M. Pd., a lecturer at Civil Engineering and Planning Education at Study Program develops a technique of lumber finishing in Marble Nuance. The technique changes the unappropiate lumber into astonishing wooden furniture as if it was marble.

This technique is applicable for wooden interior design in living room, dining room, front office and others.

They usually spend 2-3 days in the making of the product by using traditional tools. Uniquely, it involves cotton as the tool to create the wood’s texture.

The technique has been introduced to vocational students in Yogyakarta and the surrounding community. (Febi)
