TWO GRADUATES OF THE FACULTY OF MATHEMATICS AND NATURAL SCIENCE CONTINUED THEIR MASTER DEGREES AT UPSI MALAYSIA

“A university graduate has a chance to get either domestic or foreign scholarship from various institutions, such as Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) and other institutions,” said Dr. Hartono at the graduation exercise of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences on Wednesday (5/8/2015) at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Meeting Room.

The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of YSU has cooperated with Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI) Malaysia in several activities, namely sit-in program, joint seminar, and guest lecturer. In addition, five students of Chemistry Study Program got master scholarship at UPSI. From those students, one student continued to Doctoral degree. From Physics Study Program, one student got scholarship to doctoral degree.

The graduation exercise was participated by 163 participants. Septiyanan Baroroh from Biology Education Study Program got the highest GPA at this graduation exercise period by 3.86.

Here the details of this graduation exercise period: Mathematics Education study program has 16 graduates, Physics Education study program has 15 graduates, Chemistry Education study program has 15 graduates, Biology Education study program has 8 graduates, Natural Science Education study program has 22 graduates, Mathematics study program has 16 graduates, Physics study program has 9 graduates, Chemistry Study Program has 33 graduates and Biology Study Program has 19 graduates.
