Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta(UNY) received an online and offline visit from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) on July 29, 2022. Vice-Rector for Planning and Cooperation of UNY (Prof. Siswantoyo), Dean of the Faculty of Education (Dr. Sujarwo), and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering (Professor Herman Dwi Surjono) met with UNIMAS representatives.
UNIMAS representatives consisted of Professor Ar Nurakmal Abdullah, Goh Tuo Ho (Dean of Faculty Of Built Environment), Professor Siti Nur Linda Taib (Dean of Faculty Of Engineering), Professor Muna Sabri (Director of Pre-University Center ), Dr. Rohana bint Sapawi (Director of the Center for Academic Development and Management), and Dr. Ida Juliana Hutasuhut (Lecturer of the Faculty of Cognitive Sciences and Human Development).

"Today's activity is part of a follow-up visit for future collaboration. Hopefully, we can reach various segments more intensively. For example, as educational institutions, UNY and UNIMAS have the potential to intensify visiting professor, student exchange, staff exchange, and joint publication programs," said Prof. Siswantoyo.

Professor Ar Nurakmal Abdullah stated that UNIMAS was interested in the double degree program for the master's program. UNY and UNIMAS naturally have geographical proximity. Therefore it is appropriate to develop many collaborative programs that strengthen both universities. (Khairani Faizah, Tj.Lak)
