The Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS) of Yogyakarta State University (UNY) received students of Cultural Visit program from Aichi University of Education (AUE). This program begins with the holding of the welcoming ceremony as the official session of acceptance. The Welcoming Ceremony was held in the Sidang Utama Senat room. This activity was held on 12 March 2019.

The participants of this event consisted of 10 students and 3 lecturers from AUE then 3 students and 6 UNY lecturers, including Mr. Dr.rer.nat., Senam as Vice Rector for Cooperation and Development Affairs. This activity also involved the Office of International Affairs and Partnership (KUIK) staff as facilitators.

Mr. Dr.rer.nat. Senam in his speech greeted and asked AUE students about their respective study programs. "You can collaborate with UNY students in your respective fields," he added. He also did not forget to mention some of historical sites and tourism destination in Yogyakarta, such as Prambanan Temple, Borobudur Temple, Malioboro, and several beaches in Yogyakarta.

In his speech, Prof. Kazuhiro Doki added that this was his 5th visit at UNY. He thanked UNY and FBS for their good welcome and cooperation. The ten students of AUE who attended this program were the Credit Transfer students, who would start their activities from March 12, until one week ahead, which later at the end of time they have to submit a report on their activities.

This activity ended with a Sharing Session and taking photo, which was then followed by AUE student tours around the campus. (Syarif)
