Student organization at Yogyakarta State University serves as a forum in which its members are trained to develop their leadership skills. This is the right place for students to build their leadership capacity. Being members of student organization, students get leadership training through various programs such as conferences, writing workshops, and discussions.

Besides conducting these programs, student organization accommodates YSU student body’s aspirations by communicating them to the University leaders. It also helps student activity units coordinate and communicate with the University leaders when they have problems.
