"Life as a healthy elder is the hope of many people. To achieve this ideal condition, we must strengthen our biological, psychological, social, and cultural aspects. Health problems usually arise due to psychological problems, disturbed metabolism, autoimmune problems, infections, trauma, and degenerative diseases," said Dr. dr. Probosuseno, Sp.PD, K-Ger, FINASIM, SE., MM in the XII anniversary of retirees (IKAPEN) UNY at UNY auditorium on June 15, 2022.

To maintain health, the elderly need to pay attention to their food and drink intake, be diligent in exercising, avoid stress and have a supportive environment. Before serious health problems arise, early detection of health regularly is essential. In addition, it is also necessary to be involved in social activities to make life more meaningful.

Presentation of dr. Probosuseno is part of the activities of IKAPEN UNY in order to maintain and improve the quality of life of members who are old but still young in spirit. In addition to receiving health tips, IKAPEN members also received health checks and consultations. "Although IKAPEN members have formally completed their work obligations, it is important to keep a sustainable service," said Prof. Sumaryanto as Rector of UNY.
