The FAST (Future Academy Skill Transformation) Program allows us to improve future-ready skills, generating new solutions and innovations. FAST is an Interactive Program that combines mentoring methods, courses, career path advice & implementation of challenges in future skills. This message was conveyed by Juni Hadi as VP CSIO Indosat Ooredoo Hutchinson, at the Introduction to the Indosat Ooredoo Fast Program in collaboration with UNY, on Thursday (2/6) at the UNY Hotel.
“Why did we develop the FAST program?” asked Juni. The answer is that technology and industry are developing rapidly, and disruption in various fields affects many aspects. Ten skills must be mastered by 2025. The prediction is that 97 million job demands will increase based on the industry of the future.

Vice-Rector for Planning and Cooperation of UNY, Prof. Dr. Siswantoyo, M.Kes. said that today's activity would help us accelerate future challenges. “We have to keep up with various future challenges and opportunities toward world class university,” Prof.Siswanto said. I hope that both UNY and indosat Ooredoo Hutchinson will gain and win together.
Juni Hadi explained several benefits of using FAST. The participant will be able to gain future skills for free with direct impact. This point is possible because of reliable mentors that allow us to get possible solutions in a proven ecosystem. After completing the program, the participant will get a certificate, career and development opportunities in leading industries.

This program is available for 5th-semester students and lecturers who can encourage innovation, create ideas, and strive to make it happen. Be agile to suggestions and willing to develop and continue working on completing projects. The existence of a problem-solving perspective creates ideas to solve real problems in Indonesia as a consideration of all aspects involved. Meanwhile, students are encouraged by the opportunity to seek access to networks and ecosystems to compete and get jobs in a better future.

Through this program, there are opportunities for UNY students and lecturers to take part in a more integrated work with the industry. Thus, this partnership will have an impact in the form of improving the quality of education and, at the same time, strengthening the institution's mutual collaboration.
