UNY RECEIVED SILVER MEDAL IN THE SNI AWARD 2018

The National Standardization Agency (BSN) gives awards to a number of organizations and institutions. SNI Award can be an organizational reference to improve its performance because SNI Award assesses several aspects that encourage organizational progress in realizing improved performance. In 2018 UNY won the 2018 Silver SNI Award from BSN which was awarded in Jakarta Wednesday (11/21). The award was attended by Minister of Research and Technology and Minister of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia. UNY was chosen in the category of higher education organizations that have been accredited by BAN-PT.
SNI Award for UNY was received by UNY‘s Vice Rector III Sumaryanto accompanied by LPPM Chair Suyanta. According to UNY’s Rector, Sutrisna Wibawa, the basic principle of standardization is quality, this applies to all including for universities. Therefore, UNY as an institution has an interest in maintaining quality in all aspects, concerning Tri Dharma PT. This is what underlies UNY's participation in activities held by the National Standardization Body (BSN), namely the SNI Award. "Alhamdulillah, on this first participation, UNY received the Silver Category award," said Sutrisna Wibawa. It is expected that in the future, it will be able to increase even more with the preparation of the requirements and requirements set. (Dedy)
