AGAIN, STUDENTS OF ESTE YSU WIN HORAS SCIENTIFIC WRITING COMPETITION

Two students of Faculty of Education (FE), Yogyakarta State University (YSU) namely Limas Assifa Suryaningtyas and Maulida Fitriyani were delegated to Sumatra Utara University (29/4) to join Horas Scientific Writing Competition with the theme of Up-Book Serial: Promotional-Preventive Media in Providing Health Service for Elementary School Students in Remote Areas (Media Preventif Promotif Dalam Pemenuhan Pelayanan Kesehatan bagi Siswa Sekolah Dasar di Daerah Terpencil).

The agenda was held by Student Executive Board of Faculty of Public Health, Sumatra Utara University. It was designed to accommodate ideas and creative innovation of younger generation in particular college students in giving real contribution to overcome health issues including strategies to realize healthy, productive and competitive generation.

Limas explained the method used in their work was descriptive-qualitative. “This media is aimed at supporting the fulfillment of health service through education. Furthermore, this media could help create green, clean, and healthy behaviour for elementary school students in the remote areas” she added.

In the competition, the first place was grabbed by the team of YSU, followed with the team of Airlangga and Diponegoro in the second and third place. (lim/mau/ant)
