This article is based on the research done in cooperation between Yogyakarta State University
Indonesia, Hoogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht, and Utrecht University in the Netherlands entitled Developing The Music Thematic Teaching and Learning Based on Implementation in the Netherlands. One of the objectives of the study was to develop an integrated music teaching model as the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in Indonesia, which up to now has not been completely formulated.
