UNY and Pertamina Foundation officially committed to partnering in the development of quality human resources, joint research and community service through the signing of a cooperation document on February 7, 2024. In this activity, UNY was represented by Prof. Margana as Vice-Rector for Research, Cooperation, Information Systems and Entrepreneurship. While the Pertamina Foundation delegation was directly led by Bambang Pediantoro as the Pertamina Foundation Supervisory Board, and Agus Mashud S. Asngari as the President Director of Pertamina Foundation.
"UNY always establishes itself to establish cooperation and collaboration with various strategic partners. We are committed to creating superior human resources. In the future, UNY intends to increase the number of lecturers so that it can become 2500 lecturers. We are also ready to send the best lecturers to conduct research and community service with the Pertamina Foundation," said Prof. Margana.
UNY's commitment to developing excellent human resources is in line with several programs that have been initiated by Pertamina Foundation. "We are also committed to helping marginalized communities and poor rural communities to make them more independent and empowered. Pertamina Foundation is committed to advancing education, one of which is by providing scholarships to 400 students every year," said Agus Mashud S. Asngari.
