According to Muhammad Irvan Eva Salafi, the meeting lasted two days. "On the first day, there was a presentation and Industrial Tour from INKA to 3 universities, namely UNS, UNY, and UNAIR," he said Wednesday (3/8). In this case, UNS acts as chairman of the consortium/leading sector regarding the welding process to find solutions to problems in PT. INKA. While the second day was the finalization of the activity plan to answer the body and interior problems of the fast train car body manufacturing. This activity also produces output from 8 internship students who will study at PT. INKA.

According to Mahendra W.S from the Welding Preparation & Inspection Section of PT. INKA this activity is a follow-up to the MoU that has been signed between UNY and INKA. PT. INKA (Persero), a railroad manufacturing company that covers national and international markets, continues to strive to fulfill and improve the company's competence and resources so that it can produce quality products through various steps, one of which is by forming partnerships with universities. Competencies must be better prepared to prepare resources responding to rapid social, cultural, and technological advances. Cooperation between universities with the business world and the industrial world to strengthen competence can be an answer to the demand for a link and match between universities and the world of work. Even structured joint planning and implementation will create a connection and super match for both parties.
