Realizing the Zone of Integrity in the Procurement of Goods and Services

Following the 2020-2025 UNY strategic plan, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) strives to implement good governance and services. In particular, the Bureau of General Affairs, Planning, and Finance (BUPK) of UNY has encouraged the improvement of the quality of the management of the procurement of goods and services. To strengthen, UNY held a workshop and FGD on Improving the Management of Procurement of Goods and Services on June 14, 2022.

"Through this workshop, we want to strengthen the joint commitment between the leaders and managers of the procurement of goods and services at UNY in the context of developing an integrity zone towards a corruption-free area at UNY. Practically, this activity also discusses problems and possible solutions in procuring goods and services. In addition, this activity is also a sharing event-related to developing SIMPeL application features on the pbj.uny.ac.id procurement apps page for direct purchase procurement,” said Mudaqir, Head and Administrative Coordinator of the Faculty of Social Sciences.

Present as a speaker is the Head of the Internal Supervisory Unit (SPI) UNY, Abdullah Taman, SE.Ak., M.Sc., C.A. "The role of the UNY Internal Supervisory Unit will always be to oversee the procurement of goods/services as a whole from the planning stage, procurement implementation and utilization." said Taman. Taman also added that SPI plays a role in minimizing the accuracy of spending accounts through a strategic plan review and ensuring that the Procurement of Goods and Services (PBJ) to be carried out has been listed in the Strategic Plan and Budget Cost Draft (RBA) of UNY.
