dr. M.L.A.M. Maarten Dolk from the Faculty of Science, Utrecht University, Netherlands, gave lectures to all students of the UNY Mathematics Education Masters Program on 29 to 30 April 2019. The lecture was conducted in the form of team teaching together with Mathematics lecturers Model, Ariyadi Wijaya, Ph.D. At the event, Dr. Maarten outlines the rules of Realistics Mathematics Education completed with very inspiring examples. Maarten proposed a "Meter" to measure the amount of PAM water used by customers. The meter consists of dozens of units, one-tens of one-thousandth of which each value is provided with a circle along with the marking needle. The context is used as the "initial problem solving" associated with a decimal value.

In addition, Maarten also presents contexts related to SPLDV in describing the level of mathematical processes that are in accordance with the Iceberg rules. The mathematical process stage includes: (1) Problem, (2) Conceptual Matematization, (3) Interaction and Reflection, (4) Schematization, (5) Formalization, and (6) Concept, and finally (7) Applying Concepts.

dr. M.L.A.M. Maarten Dolk from the Faculty of Science, Utrecht University, the Netherlands besides being active as a lecturer, he is also active in research incorporated in the Freudenthal Institute. The lecture on "Mathematics Model" is expected to bridge between the contextual world and formal mathematics. (her/ant)
