ASENet is an activity in the field of entrepreneurship which aims to increase collaboration and network expansion for young entrepreneurs so that they can synergize together to build the economy in ASEAN. ASENet 2018 is the second time that the University of Syiah Kuala hosted. ASENet has also been successfully implemented by Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2016. ASENET 2018 activities were attended by 85 participants from various universities at home and abroad. This kind of activity is very important as a place for young entrepreneurs to communicate and share their thoughts. The theme of ASENet 2018 is "Creative Entrepreneur for Creative Economy" which means the activity focuses on creative economy sector. The series of activities consist of exhibitions, conferences, entrepreneurship workshops and Business Plan competition.
The series of events was also attended by Director General of Research, Technology, and Higher Education R.I Dr. Muhamad Dimyati who is also a keynote speaker, Deputy Access Capital BEKRAF Fadjar Hutomo, and Deputy Coordination of Creative Economy, Entrepreneurship and Cooperative Competitiveness and SMEs Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs R.I Dr. Ir. Mohammad Rudy Salahuddin, MEM. In a series of conferences, also attended one of Professors FE University of Indonesia namely Prof. Rhenald Khasali, Ph.D as the main speaker.
In the competition Business Plan ASENet 2018 UNY Entrepreneurship Team guided by our lecturers namely Dessy Irmawati, M.T, Adeng Pustikaningsih, S.E., M.Si and Arwan Nur Ramadhan, S.Pd., M.Pd. won the first category of The Best Business Plan development category. The UNY Entrepreneurship Team consists of 5 (five) students, namely Oby Zamisyak (Electrical Engineering Engineering 2013), Yuli Suryaningsih (Pending English 2014), Singgih Bekti W. (Mechatronics Engineering 2014), Anggun Fitria Agung 2014), and Muh. Afnan Razzak Gunarto (Management 2016). Business in lift by Entrepreneurship Team UNY is Indobot Robotik, a robot company that aims to reduce child addiction to games initiated by Oby Zamisyak.
"Alhamdulilllah, we are very grateful Indobot can re-incise the achievements, hopefully Indobot can continue to excel both nationally and internationally, the goal that Indobot can be known around the world and beneficial to many people", said Oby Zamisyak.
Hopefully this achievement can be a motivation for other students to the spirit of building a business starting from the bottom since in college to become a successful young entrepreneur, and managed to open jobs for many people. In the long term, students are expected to be an economic milestone in Indonesia. (YS / OZ)
