At the prestigious Abdidaya Ormawa 2024, held at Universitas Udayana, Bali, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) showcased remarkable achievements. Represented by two teams, Haska JMF and BEM FMIPA UNY, they reached the finals, competing against 160 student organizations from 66 universities across Indonesia.
Organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), Abdidaya Ormawa recognizes student organizations that excel in community service programs driven by innovation and social impact.
BEM FMIPA UNY secured 3rd place in the "Strongest Partnership Implementation" category for their Jagad Agro Wonoboyo (JAGO) program, which integrates IoT, GIS, and value-added strategies for sustainable farming in Desa Wonoboyo. This initiative has significantly benefited the local community.
Iftitah Alya, team leader, expressed gratitude: "We are thankful for this achievement. It motivates us to develop more impactful and innovative community programs."
Dr. Tien Aminatun, faculty advisor, praised the students' dedication: "This success highlights the exceptional potential of FMIPA UNY students in community service. May this inspire others to contribute."

Both teams comprised students from various disciplines, including Education, Biology, Chemistry, Statistics, and Communication, demonstrating FMIPA UNY's interdisciplinary strength in addressing real-world challenges.
