On February 24-25, 2025, the Bachelor's Program in Physics Education at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta's Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences underwent a comprehensive field assessment by the Independent Accreditation Institute for Education (LAMDIK). This evaluation aimed to evaluate academic quality, facilities, and learning systems to bolster educational standards within the program.
The assessment team comprised Prof. Dr. Winny Liliawati from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) and Dr. Bambang Subali, M.Pd. Their evaluation encompassed various facets, including curriculum design, human resources, infrastructure, and the alignment of the program's vision and mission.
Prof. Dr. Dadan Rosana, M.Si., Dean of FMIPA UNY, highlighted the significance of this assessment in his remarks. He noted that it serves as a pivotal moment to reflect on the program's achievements and identify areas for future improvement. Prof. Dadan expressed optimism that feedback from the assessors would guide the program toward optimal performance and continuous enhancement.
