The Faculty of Language, Arts and Culture of Yogyakarta State University organized a social service outing for FBSB UNY International Students at Parangkusumo Beach. With the title "Beach Clean Up", this activity is a social service of beach cleaning, eco-bricking workshops and literacy-based fun activities with children around the beach. This activity involved international students taking credit transfer, bachelor and master programs at UNY. Forty-five international students participated in this activity.

The Thai Language Course Program officially opened on Tuesday (04/04/2023). This program is a collaboration between the French Education Study Program of UNY and the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Maejo University, Thailand. The meeting was held online with the host  Herman, M.Pd, followed by students participating in the Thai Class, lecturers of the French Language Education Study Program, and Ajarn (Lecturers) from the Faculty of Liberal Arts Maejo Univ Thailand.

Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP UNY), on Sunday (2/4) visited the Muhammadiyah Sayegan Orphanage led by the chairperson of DWP UNY, Sulastri Sumaryanto. Present from the Sayegan Muhammadiyah Orphanage welcomed the DWP UNY group, the Chairman of the orphanage foundation Sutarto, Siswo Sarjono as the elder of the orphanage, Dana Nurhana as the administrator of the Development Section, as well as several representatives from the Branch Leadership Council (DPC) Aisyiyah Sayegan Branch.

IKIP Yogyakarta was part of the Faculty of Pedagogics UGM, established in 1955 and transforms into Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta in 1999. In 2022 UNY's achievements in the QS World University Ranking by Subject were ranked 301-350 in the world, number 2 in Indonesia, as a capital step towards a World Class University. UNY held the third academic workshop with the Association of Indonesian Researchers in Korea (APIK). APIK is one of the scientific organizations established on October 27, 2019, initiated by the Indonesian Embassy in Seoul and APIK pioneers. The workshop aimed to map potential opportunities for applied research collaboration in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and the development of digital start-ups. This activity was held shortly after the meeting with Shinhan University, Korea, at 17:30 local time. The workshop was led by the Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof.

The Indonesian Embassy in Beijing-UNY has become a strong partner for implementing cooperation in various fields with the Shandong-China province. During his visit to Korea, Prof. Dr. Siswantoyo, M.Kes., AIFO, Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, attended a virtual meeting entitled Investment, Trade, Culture & Tourism Exchange (China-Indonesia).

Students of the Department of Sport Science and the Department of Sport Education UNY had the opportunity to learn directly with two Sports Professors from the University of Seville, Spain. In the first session, Prof. Luis Carrasco Paez, Ph.D. gave a lecture on "Sports Physiology". For the second session, Prof. Francis Ries, Ph.D. gave a lecture on "Physical Education for Elementary and Secondary Teachers".
