DIK DOANK GAVE A MOTIVATIONAL TALK THE FACULTY OF LANGUAGES AND ARTS’ STUDENTS

Dik Doank gave s motivational talk to students of the Faculty of Languages and Arts in a seminar entitled Character Development of the Students of the Faculty of Languages and Arts, Wednesday (27/5/2015) in YSU Auditorium. This former TV presenter whose full name is Raden RIzki Mulyawan Kertanegara Hayang Denada Kusuma opened his talk by stating that drawing skill is firstly acquired before writing skill. “Drawing is considered as a more basic skill that writing, counting, and other skills,” he said.

In addition, the owner of Alam Kandank Jurank Doank gave his advice to the students of the Faculty of Languages and Arts to love their mother. He encouraged the students to do their best in their study as well as advised them to use their mobile phone to communicate with their family, especially their mother.

“However, mothers communicate with their hearts,” he said. “Therefore, mothers will be able to sense the condition of their children,” he added.

The Vice Dean for Student Affairs of the Faculty of Languages and Arts, Dr. Kun Setyaning Astuti, M.Pd., said that this event aims at developing character education of the students in this faculty. “This motivational seminar will encourage them to reach their dream so that they will be sure with their chosen study programs,” she said. In addition, it is hoped that this event will be able to mature the students in their future.
