A Discussion on the IQF-Based Curriculum

The Department of English Language Education held an open discussion on supporting internationalization programs for the department and the curriculum implementation based on Indonesian Qualification Framework (IQF) on Thursday, December 18th, 2014. In this discussion, the committee invited Dr. Dat Bao from Monash University, Australia, to share his experiences in developing a curriculum. The discussion was focused on the Semester Lesson Plans development according to IQF-based curriculum.

During the discussion, Dr. Dat Bao shared his experiences in developing Semester Lesson Plans needed for IQF-based curriculum implementation. It covers standard operational procedures formulation, study skills formulation (a guidance for students to achieve maximum study results), ICT integration in learning process, etc.

There was also a sharing session joined by several lecturers regarding their experiences in developing Semester Lesson Plans as well as the obstacles encountered. The discussion was one of the activities to support IQF-based curriculum implementation in the Department of English Language Education. (Devi H)
