Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has proven its importance in education. It provides effectiveness and efficiency in learning activity. Therefore, Eduspec Jogja collaborated with Yogyakarta State University conduct a research entitled The Effectivity of E-Sabak in Learning Activity to support research-based promotion of such product.

As a initial step, a proposal seminar of E-Sabak research was held at Rectorate Meeting Room, Monday (5/10/2015) inviting YSU E-Sabak research team consisting of Pujirianto, S.Pd., Deni Hardianto, M.Pd. from Department of Curriculuum and Educational Technology; Sabar Nurohman, M.Pd.Si. from Department of Natural Sciences Education; and Lusi Nurhayati, M.Appl.Ling. from Department of English Language Education. The seminar also invited the representation of Eduspec Jogja and proposal reviewers.

E-Sabak is technology-based learning media which comes with preloaded ebooks and interactive learning apps for the classroom. It gives a chance for teachers to boost their teaching quality through intel classroom management.

Vice Rector for Cooperation Affairs of YSU, Prof. Suwarsih Madya, Ph.D., expressed her interest about the research “The cooperation is the first point to develop proper technology for children education,” she said.

At the end of the seminar, Suwarsih made a closing statement. “All suggestions from this seminar will help the research team for having the same goal with the eduspec,” she said.
