Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta(UNY) welcomed Assessors from BAN-PT to conduct a Field Assessment for the Accreditation of the Teacher Profession Program (PPG) offline and online on August 1, 2022. The assessors who carried out the accreditation were Prof. Arita Marini from Universitas Negeri Jakarta and Prof. Anam Sutopo from Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta.

UNY Rector, Prof. Sumaryanto, stated that UNY was ready to welcome the arrival of assessors to asses the Teacher Profession Program at UNY. "The accreditation of this program will lead to qualified human resources in the field of education," said the Rector. He also asked the assessors to notify if the Teacher Profession Program implemented at UNY needed improvement.

Arita Marini said that this activity was an effort to verify the data and information that had been submitted to the accreditation team of BAN PT. "We will hold this activity for two days, and we hope it can be useful," she said. During these two days, the team will see videos of infrastructure facilities in the PPG UNY program, Forms 3a and 3b, interviews with PPG lecturers and students, alumni, and graduate users of PPG UNY. Meanwhile, Anam Sutopo said that this activity was also a golden opportunity for him to learn how to manage PPG from UNY. (Dedy, Tj. Lak)
