FACULTY OF MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCE’S STUDENT GRABED THE SILVER MEDAL AT IIIF 2016 IN BANGALORE, INDIA

YSU’s student of FMS, Mathematics Study Program Rifaldy Fajar, is again marking an achievement by successfully winning a silver medal in the event of The 1st India International Innovation Fair 2016 (IIIF in 2016) in Bangalore, India held on September 9 to 11 at the BIEC. This activity is organized by the Indian Innovators Association (IIA) in cooperation with the International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA)

As described by Rifaldy, the event was attended by hundreds of innovators from several countries, including Lebanon, Indonesia, India, Poland, Portugal, Sri Lanka, Bosnia, China, Egypt, Iraq, Nigeria, the Philippines and other countries where the participants are divided into several areas with very competent juries.

On that occasion, Rifaldy Fajar brought innovation concerning Numerical Simulation and Mathematics Modelling of Spreading the Parasit of Shypilis in the health category. This category is a daunting challenge because the rival projects are Top 20 health innovations.

Rifaldy previously have received a scholarship from the organizer in the form of free registration to accommodation for attending this event.

He explained, this competition is an exhibition concept accompanied by a presentation in which each innovation got a stand to display posters to the jury with a question and answer presentation system in English. Then the presentation is done in a room for each class in innovation by showing a power point. (rifaldy / Witono)
