"Thank God that today, we can gather for Joint Gymnastics to celebrate the 58th Anniversary of Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta in good health and full of happiness," said the Chairman of the Committee for the 58th Anniversary of UNY, Dr. Nur Hidayanto Pancoro Setyo Putro, on Friday, February 4, 2022, at Taman Olahraga Masyarakat (TOM).

In this activity, around 420 participants attended by adhering to strict health protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The participants were UNY leaders, UNY partners, SPI, Supervisory Board, Advisory Council, Deputy Dean, Institutional Secretary, employee representatives, and student representatives.

As was the tradition in previous years, apart from maintaining health through gymnastics, the participants also had the opportunity to get one door prize out of a total of more than 200 door prizes with 13 main door prizes. We want to thank all units at UNY as well as UNY partners who have been willing to support the Joint Gymnastics activities in the context of UNY's 58th Anniversary," said the Chairman of the Committee for the 58th Anniversary of UNY.

The Rector of UNY hopes that UNY will be  a PTN BH  institution this year soon. "Today, UNY as the host of the semifinal meeting leading to the final round of PTN-BH proposals. Hopefully, it won't take too long for this year's PTN BH UNY proposal to be accepted."

TheJoint Gymnastics was led by the gymnastics instructor, UNY lecturer, and students from the Faculty of Sport Sciences UNY. After the gymnastics were completed, there was a surprise in the form of a dance flashmob, initiated by several students from the Dance Arts Education. All participants then followed in the TOM, including the leaders. Meanwhile, the door prize distribution was lively, as the main door prize offering from Bank BPD DIY was won by FIK UNY employees.
