For Dian, being part of the national team is an honor. She is grateful for the team cohesiveness and hard work along with the support from parents, Abdul Mahfudin Alim (lecturer and coach of UNY Rugby team) and PB PRUI (Association of Rugby Union Indonesia). “Do not afraid to try new things, never be afraid to dream, never tired of trying because we may never know which way will lead us to be successful,” Dian said.

Secretary General of PB PRUI, Dodie Gambiro said that Indonesia National Rugby female team has proven that their technique and individual skill were not far behind, but the lack of experience really show the difference. This overview was set on the fact on narrow losing score for the last two game.

In the other hand, The Male Indonesian Rugby National Team actually has two players affiliated with UNY. There are Muhammad Danial Al (Sport Science Study Program Students) and Dionysius Oktavian Andi Pratikno (Alumni of UNY Elementary School Teacher Education of Physical Education).
