A group of UNY students has achieved several achievements through a technology startup business called SineasHub. They are Jairus Asher Purdy (CEO) - Diploma in Marketing Management 2020, Devaanu Arkaan Dirgantara - Diploma in Recreation Business Management 2021, Ayyasy Fathan Mubina - Undergraduate Education Technology 2020, Nur Dwi Lestari - Undergraduate Communication Science 2020, Herlina Ayuni Sani - Diploma in Accounting 2019, Aditya Maulana - Diploma in Marketing Management 2020, Laela Indah Pratiwi - Diploma in Marketing Management 2019, Naufal Abbas Siregar - Diploma in Marketing Management 2020 and Faras Fadhillah - Diploma in Marketing Management 2020.

Jairus Asher Purdy said SineasHub is a startup that was formed and began to be developed in 2021 as a film media production platform to educate and develop the film industry in Indonesia. "Currently SineasHub has been legalized and has a legal entity called PT Sineas Kreatif Indonesia," he said, Monday (13/3). SineasHub carries out various product developments including video & design agency (creative agency), online film class, Layar Sineas (independent film screening), and is developing an OTT Platform (online movie screening for independent films). According to the student of the Marketing Management Diploma program at the Faculty of Vocational Studies UNY, currently, it has helped more than 4000 people interested in studying film and supported more than 100 film events to be distributed. In addition, SineasHub has opened a Virtual Internship 4 times, where SineasHub helps people to accelerate their career and film interests.

According to Devaanu Arkaan Dirgantara, SineasHub services include sineaslab, sineaspartner, sineascompetition, online film class, sineas screen, and sineasmov. Sineaslab is a graphic and video commercial that works with 2 agencies. Sineaspartner works with more than 50 events to screen their event films.

SineasHub won 1st place in the LIKMI 2023 competition in the technology startup business sector. In addition, SineasHub won 2nd place equivalent to Silver Medal in the GEMASTIK 2022 competition in the field of ICT business. Gemastik itself is a program of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology to increase the competence of Indonesian students so that they can take a role in advancing the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and its utilization. Apart from the two competitions, SineasHub also received the Gold Medal Rare Icon International Research and Business and the Silver Medal IEI2C International Business Plan. Jairus hopes that in the future SineasHub can launch as an OTT Platform for Indonesian cinema and become the top-of-mind film startup in Indonesia.
