UNY won the sixth position out of 576 universities in Indonesia and ranked 65th in Asia. Unirank's version of the university ranking, which used to be called 4ICU, reflects the popularity of a university-based on the popularity of its website. According to the Vice-Rector for Planning and Cooperation of UNY, Prof. Siswantoyo, this achievement is one of the results of transforming from the spirit of awakening to welcome changes.
