Bachelor degree is the foundation, master degree and doctoral degree are the toppings. Therefore, it is important not to leave bachelor alma mater because we have to focus. Our only goal is to learn with all the challenges. If you have master degree then you already have a background of activity. Therefore we cannot be separated from the bachelor alma mater because there are so many things we get. As stated by the Minister of Villages, Abdul Halim Iskandar in the UNY Alumni Association Meeting at the UNY Hotel Saturday (4/1). According to him, our way of thinking, perspective, systematics and character depend on when we graduate from bachelor degree. "Then it will be very proud if we can build UNY Connection because there will be an emotional bond wherever we are," Abdul Halim Iskandar said. The key to that connection is communication. The problem with the highest perceived weakness is that of communication. Therefore, in the future, the UNY network will be strengthened, starting from the internal network first.

In his speech, UNY Rector Sutrisna Wibawa said that UNY alumni spread across the country could work together and develop networks. "Research, community service, education development can be synergized between active students and alumni," Sutrisna Wibawa said. The Rector hopes that UNY Alumni Association can work better to contribute to the government. According to the Chairperson of Alumni Association Suyanto, this activity will compile future work programs so that there is synchronization between the center and the regions. This activity was attended by UNY alumni from several regions in Indonesia. (Dedy; Tj.Lak)
