Innovation is a must for education in this dynamic and competitive era. To improve this point, producing more literature relating to the study of innovation will be one of the efforts. Thus, students of graduate school on civics education published book entitled” Inovasi Pembelajaran Kewarganegaraan Abad Ke-21” (Innovation of Civics Education Learning in the 21st century) in collaboration with UNY Press. This book is a compilation of UNY students’ essays from class 2018 who took course on Civics Education Learning Innovation. The book consist of teaching materials, methods and learning media.

Dr. Mukhamad Murdiono, M.Pd as the lecturer for Civics Education Learning Innovation course said that the book was the 2nd book. Previous class (2017) also published similar books compilation. The lecturer who is also the Head of Civics Education Study Programs for Bachelor degree also said that the learning products from the course are based on the purpose to give meaningfulness and tangible products from the courses on Civics Education.

"This book is very useful in learning Civics Education. Hopefully, it will give more reference on civics education learning innovation,” he said.(Toba Sastrawan Manik / JK)
