Arneta Putri from Psychology Department UNY won the first place in national rock climbing competition on Indonesian Psychology Innovation Week (PIPI) in Universitas Pancasila, Jakarta on 1 to 3 November 2019. This event previously known as Indonesia Psychology Olympiad (OPI) and has been organized for seventh times annually.

This activity is a special scientific meeting for national psychology students, which in 2019 was held in three universities in Jakarta: Universitas Indonesia (Depok), Universitas Pancasila, and Universitas Gunadarma. Although held in three universities, the committee that is incorporated is a combination of six universities that run psychology majors in Jakarta.

Arneta became the first winner in the PsyClimb competition after outperforming the participants of the first lead category from various universities from Indonesia. "This is my commitment not to waste the opportunity, and this victory is a memento for the Department of [UNY Psychology]," Arneta said when contacted via WhatsApp, Tuesday (11/12/2019).

Arneta herself is a member mountaineering club, Madawirna UNY. "Hopefully in the future, we will have the opportunity to participate and win more for  the department and UNY," Arneta said. (Muhammad Abdul Hadi / JK; Tj.Lak)
