Based on the Rector Decree as of July 1, 2022, the educational structural positions in Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), which previously consisted of the Head of Section and several Heads of Sub-Sections, have now been changed to Coordinator and Coordinator Secretary. This change is a form of bureaucratic reform within the Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta and structural streamlining, which is expected to be more effective and efficient, following the direction promoted by the Ministry of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform of the Republic of Indonesia.

In the inauguration, which took place on Friday, July 1, 2022, the Rector of UNY inaugurated 4 study program coordinators, 19 pairs of Coordinators and Secretary Coordinators, and six transfers of educational staff. "Everyone who received today's decree has gone through tests and discussions between UNY leaders. I hope we can maximize the performance in their respective units and at the same time become the starting point for a return to 100% offline work for UNY lecturers and education staff after more than two years when the Covid-19 pandemic hit" said the Rector of UNY.
