Tuesday (18/04/2023) Faculty of Languages, Arts, and Culture of UNY held a Welcoming Ceremony for Visiting Professors from Suleyman Demirel University (SDU) Kazakhstan, Prof. Adilzhan Anay, Madina Ashirimbetova and Totgyn Ayazbay. Prof. Adilzhan Anay representing the delegation from SDU, expressed his excitement to come to UNY to implement cooperation in the form of a Visiting Professor program.

Vice-Rector for Research, Cooperation, Information Systems, and Entrepreneurship, Prof. Dr. Margana, M.A. welcomed the implementation of cooperation between SDU and UNY. In addition to the Visiting Professor program, Prof. Margana hopes there will be Joint Research, Joint Degree, Joint curriculum and sharing of academic issues and best practices, especially for English Education, French Education and English Literature study programs.

"The transformation of UNY requires us further to encourage collaboration across countries as a major issue, universities coming from other countries, networking, being an important part of the Hexahelix Pillar besides university, industry, community, school, and mass media," added Prof. Margana.

The activity continued with academic discussions and discussed opportunities for cooperation that could be carried out with representatives of lecturers from the French Language Education, English Language Education, and English Literature study programs. (dwiretnosa, Tj.Lak)
