To celebrate the 2015 National Education Day and 2015 Science National Olympiad, Yogyakarta State University participated in an Education Expo held by Information Center and Public Relation of Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia from 22-24 May 2015 in Mandala Krida Stadium.

The expo was opened by Prof. Kacung Marijan, Ph.D., Director General of Culture, Ministry of Education and Culture. “Yogyakarta was chosen as the place for the 2015 National Education Day celebration due to our wish to commemorate Ki Hadjar Dewantara’s dedication to education and culture of Indonesia,” he said.

65 stands participating in this expo consisted of the units in the Ministry of Education and Culture, Higher Institutions, Vocational Highschool, PKLK, PAUDNI, publishers and private companies. YSU exhibited electric stove for making Batik, the final project of Fashion Design and Hospitality Education students, and profile videos.

In addition, YSU stand provided any information about 2015 Prospective Student Enrollment. The visitors were dominated by Vocational Highschool students in Yogyakarta and the parents of the prospective students. (Laksa)
