The Student Activitiy Unit of Research secured the second place of 2015 Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Expo 7 Competition held by the Student Association of Public Health of University of Indonesia on Friday (29/5/2015). It is an annual national paper competition with the theme “Occupational Health and Safety in Daily Activities.”

The YSU team consists of three students, namely Dian Rizka Silvia (English Education Department of 2014), Okta Lesagia (English Education Department of 2014), and Nugroho Wahyu Sumartono (Chemistry Education of 2013) with the supervisor of the English Education lecturer, Ani Setyaningsih, M.A.

They presented a paper entitled “Kupu K3: K3 Pop Up book as the Learning Media to Spread Occupational Health and Safety Issue to Elemenatary School and Kindergarten Environment.” It aims at implementing Occupational Helath and Safety Issue from the early age of students .

The team had to compete with various public universities, i.e. Indonesia University, Gadjah Mada University, Brawijaya University, Jember University, Indonesia University of Education and Trunojoyo University.

The first place was secured by Brawijaya University and the third place was secured by Gadjah Mada University.
