Yogyakarta is the second most favourite tourism destination in Indonesia after Bali. This city has more than 7.000 SMME UMKM (Small Micro Medium Enterprises) which are considered as a big chance for this city to develop due to ASEAN Economic Community issues.

The YSU delegates produced an interactive augmented reality catalogue to provide the information about product specification, price and address in order to introduce various products of Yogyakarta UMKM to tourists.

They presented their paper to 50 delegates from USA, China, Germany, Japan, Australia, Africa, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, India and Indonesia. “We’ve got a lot of attention because we are the youngest and the only delegates from undergraduate level,” Siti Maesharoh said.

“We learn a lot about how to write paper for an international seminar. Also, we learn about public speaking and networking,”she closed. (sitimaesaroh)
