Abstract: 

Adolescence is a period in development that a person undergoes from the end of childhood to the arrival of early adulthood. As individuals who are going through the transition process from childhood to maturity, adolescents have developmental tasks that lead to their preparation to meet the demands and expectations of the role of an adult. One of the tasks of its development is to prepare for the future, in this case the field of education as well as careers. Ideally, adolescents who in this case are high school students are able to recognize their interests and talents, are able to explore self-competence  so that they are ready to face the future. But in fact there are still many high school students who feel unfocused when faced with conditions of career selection, especially when they are about to finish their studies. Students are less likely to have career readiness due to the lack of services provided at school Guidance and counseling which is an integral part of the education system has an important role in developing the potential and competence of students both personal-social,  learning and career. Thus, in accordance with the mandate of the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 111 of 2014 concerning Guidance and Counseling in Primary and Secondary Education with the direction of providing guidance and counseling services in schools towards the paradigm of comprehensive guidance and counseling services. One of the components of comprehensive guidance and counseling is individual service planning. Individual planning service has service objectives, one of which is to increase career readiness. Career readiness is the ability of students to examine various factors in preparing themselves with career planning and exploration by considering factors that affect career development such as family, organizational, and environmental factors. The individual planning service model which is included in the comprehensive guidance and counseling component does not yet have a clear form and model. Therefore, the general objective of this study is to develop an individual planning service model to increase proper and validated career readiness. Individual Planning Service Models to Improve Career Readiness in High School Students can be generated through development research methods. This research was planned for 2 years. In this second year research activities focus on: (3) Phase III Expert testing of hypothetical models of individual planning services, (4) Phase IV Testing of individual planning service models, (5) Phase V Development of individual planning service models. The mandatory research output is in the form of a SINTA accredited national journal and Model, while the additional output of research product copyright is in the form of individual planning media, national journals, international proceedings, and books.
