YSU STUDENTS DEVELOPS RIVER TRASH CARRIER TOOL

Unprocessed trash is a big problem in most big cities. It is caused by the people’s habit to dispose their trash to river. Consequently, it often triggers flood in big cities. To respond this, four students of Electronics Technology Education Study Program of the Faculty of Engineering developed the design of Inntopes or Innovation Tools Pengangkat Sampah (Innovation Tools for Trash Carrier). YSU Wates Campus Held a Swimming Competition for School Students

In collaboration with the Kulon Progo Regional Office of Education and Indonesia Swimming Association, YSU held a swimming competition for school students on Sunday (May 31st 2015). The participants are categorised into 5 age categories namely 15 years old and older, 13-14 years old, 11-12 years old, 9-10 years old, and 8 years old and younger. Darmasiswa Students of YSU Visit Three Schools in Yogyakarta

In the end of this year Darmasiswa Program period, the Darmasiswa students of YSU visited three schools from Monday to Thursday (1-4/6/2015). They are Diponegoro Vocational High School, Percobaan 2 Elementary School and Yaketunis, an Islamic Junior Highschool for the blind.

Rr. Pramesti Vidya Bhakti Eva (Elementary School Teacher Education Department), Dinda Dara Iswari (English Education Department), Shaquila Awalia Fajri (Physical Exercise Education Department), and Alifia Revan Prananda (Informatics Engineering Education) have completed their teaching practice program at Sekolah Indonesia, Singapore.  JANU MUHAMMAD REPRESENTS YSU IN YLI 2015

Janu Muhammad was succesfully chosen as one of 60 Indonesian students of the 2015 National Young Leaders for Indonesia (YLI). It is an annual program focusing on preparing Indonesian young future leaders to be the next future leaders in their fields. Garuda UNY Racing Team, Champion for Hybrid Car Category in the 2015 ISGCC

GURT (Garuda UNY Racing Team) gained general champion and best of the best of Hybrid car category in the 2015 International Student Green Car Competition (ISGCC), 29-30 May 2015, in Songsan-Myun, Hwangsung-si, Gyeonggi-Do, South Korea.
