Abstract :

The research with the title "Tino Sidin's thoughts in children's painting learning" aims to describe Tino Sidin's thoughts about drawing and painting as well as the learning strategies used to motivate children, the painting media used, and painting techniques. The research method used by qualitative phenomenology to capture and describe Tino Sidin's thoughts in learning children's painting was excavated from friends, students, Tino Sidin's daughters, artifacts, and library sources. Interview, observation and documentation methods, advanced human research instruments, observation, and documentation.  Data validity by triasnggulation of sources and persistence of observations. Descriptive data analysis includes data reduction, data retrieval, and leveraging.
The results of the research were found regarding Tino Sidin's thoughts about learning strategies for children's painting. The use of painting learning methods to motivate children to use the story method and to offer examples of objects or objects that are developed into drawing objects such as straight lines, curved lines, numbers, and letters. The painting media used were pencils, markers and crayons. The painting technique used to sketch with a pencil or marker is spontaneously not repeated or erased and then colored using crayons. Tino Sidin's strategy in motivating children to be fearless or brave in making decisions is by using the word "Good" for each assessment and commenting on the children's work. The word "Good" which is pronounced by Tino Sidin has the power to arouse children's courage in expressing their ideas. The results of the research on the learning strategy of drawing and painting in the style of Tino Sidin will be developed into printed textbooks and flipbook programs that can be accessed by readers with computers and androids. This book can be used as teaching material for educators in teaching drawing and painting for children both in appreciation and creation in formal and non-formal education.

Abstract :

This study aims to find out the relationship between the quantity and types of LiMxMn2-xO4  (M: Co, Ni and Cr) and the physical characteristics (particle size, morphology and microstructure)  of LiMxMn2-xO4.
It serves as a development of the previous research that synthesized LiMn2O4  using simple solid-state method assisted by microwave irradiation. The variable examined in this study was the effects of dopant quantity and types on LiMn2O4. Quantity and type of dopant greatly affect the character of the results of the synthesis which includes purity, phase type, structure stability and crystallinity so that certain technique and control of these factors are needed. The synthesized LiMxMn2-xO4  was characterized using XRD and SEM-EDX while the microstructure characterization  was carried out ab initio using the WinPlotR and Diamond programs.
LiMxMn2-xO4  compounds (M: Co, Ni, and Cr) with x = 0; 0.02; 0.04; 0.06; 0.08; 0.10 can be synthesized using microwave irradiation-assisted reflux techniques. The results of XRD data analysis show that the compounds LiNixMn2-xO4  and LiCrxMn2-xO4 had a cubic crystal system with a Fd-3m space group. As the variation of the value of x added increases, the lattice parameter value of LiNixMn2-xO4  decreases, while that of LiCrxMn2-xO4  increases. The results of SEM-EDX data analysis show that the surface of LiMn2O4  and LiMxMn2-xO4  (M: Co, Ni and Cr) compounds is irregularly shaped with a rough surface and there are cavities on its surface.

Abstract :

Adolescence is a period in development that a person undergoes from the end of childhood to the arrival of early adulthood. As individuals who are going through the transition process from childhood to maturity, adolescents have developmental tasks that lead to their preparation to meet the demands and expectations of the role of an adult. One of the tasks of its development is to prepare for the future, in this case the field of education as well as careers. Ideally, adolescents who in this case are high school students are able to recognize their interests and talents, are able to explore self-competence  so that they are ready to face the future. But in fact there are still many high school students who feel unfocused when faced with conditions of career selection, especially when they are about to finish their studies. Students are less likely to have career readiness due to the lack of services provided at school Guidance and counseling which is an integral part of the education system has an important role in developing the potential and competence of students both personal-social,  learning and career. Thus, in accordance with the mandate of the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 111 of 2014 concerning Guidance and Counseling in Primary and Secondary Education with the direction of providing guidance and counseling services in schools towards the paradigm of comprehensive guidance and counseling services. One of the components of comprehensive guidance and counseling is individual service planning. Individual planning service has service objectives, one of which is to increase career readiness. Career readiness is the ability of students to examine various factors in preparing themselves with career planning and exploration by considering factors that affect career development such as family, organizational, and environmental factors. The individual planning service model which is included in the comprehensive guidance and counseling component does not yet have a clear form and model. Therefore, the general objective of this study is to develop an individual planning service model to increase proper and validated career readiness. Individual Planning Service Models to Improve Career Readiness in High School Students can be generated through development research methods. This research was planned for 2 years. In this second year research activities focus on: (3) Phase III Expert testing of hypothetical models of individual planning services, (4) Phase IV Testing of individual planning service models, (5) Phase V Development of individual planning service models. The mandatory research output is in the form of a SINTA accredited national journal and Model, while the additional output of research product copyright is in the form of individual planning media, national journals, international proceedings, and books. Keywords: individual planning, career readiness, high school students

Abstract :

Basic education has not fully succeeded in meeting national education standards. There is a tendency that one regional policy will not be the same as another region because each region has a different context in the process of education development. Basic education policy analysis is needed to provide an imperative picture of the praxis of education and provide an accurate solution to the problems of implementation  in basic education. The basic education policy analysis research in Temanggung Regency aims to describe: 1) the achievement of eight National Education Standards in basic education (SD / MI and SMP / MTs) in Temanggung District, and 2) Achievement of the National Education Standards in non-formal education in the pursuit of Package A , B, and C in temanggung district. 3) Policy recommendations  in achieving National Education Standards on basic education and non-formal education. The method uses policy research that focuses on the achievement of eight National Education Standards which include the Standards of Educators and Education Personnel; Education Financing Standards; Management Standards; Facilities and Infrastructure Standards; Content Standards; Graduate competence standard; Assessment Standards; and Educational Process Standards. The study population was all schools in primary education in Temanggung Regency. The sampling technique uses a cluster area technique by dividing the Temanggung Regency area into three clusters namely urban areas, the border area between villages and cities (rural urban fringe), and rural areas (rural). The three areas are represented by eight sub districts: Kledung District; Temanggung District; Pringsurat District; District ofembembarak;  Tretep District; Bansari District; Candiroto District and Kandangan District, and the Organization of Non-Formal Education in Temanggung Regency. Research data is primary data and secondary data. Data were collected by Focus Group Discussion (FGD), in-depth interviews, questionnaires.  Data analysis using the mix-method. The results of the study concluded that 1) in Temanggung Regency: Of the eight National Education Standards, two standards namely Standard Facilities and Praarana, as well as Education and Education Workforce standards still need to be improved. 2) Based on data and FGDs as well as field observations, it can be concluded that the dynamics of PKBM in Temanggung Regency is very interesting to study the problem and effective and creative solutions, so that the existence of PKBM as an alternative educational institution plays a more important role in the development of Indonesian community education. Based on an analysis of educational standards for PKBM in Temanggung District, it can be concluded that the first of eight educational standard achievements in PKBM has not reached optimal results, because there is a very strong tendency that each PKBM in each aspect of standard assessment has not reached 75%, so PKBM administrators are able to design strategic and measurable programs on each education standard in accordance with indicators set by the government. The second conclusion, that the obstacles faced by PKBM in running their social roles are structural and cultural occurs in the process of achieving each educational standard. Structurally still needed secondary data that is well read to be made as a planning database for each PKBM in accordance with the conditions of the community structure. There is also a cultural problem related to the low level of community aspirations in education and low motivation to learn. Structural and cultural solutions are not easy to do, because they require participation and synergy from all elements of society.

Abstract :

The studies on the psychological skills of players based on gender perspective are limited, particularly in elite soccer players. We evaluated the psychological skills of Indonesian male and female soccer players who competed in Asian Games 2018. The research method was a retrospective causal-comparative design using The Psychological Skills Inventory for Sports (PSIS-R-5) instrument. The data were analyzed using the independent sample t-test (P < 0,05) and cross tabulation techniques. The results showed that there were no significant differences in the characteristics of psychological skills between the Indonesian male and female national soccer team players. This study reveals a lack of psychological skills in soccer players, particularly in concentration and the importance of team. Therefore this research can provide scientific information for the coaches to improve the psychological skills of both male and female soccer players is needed. Future research is needed to develop and to improve the psychological skills of the professional male and female soccer players.

Abstract :

Background/Aims: Kaempferia rotunda (Zingiberaceae), known as kunci pepet or kunir putih in Indonesia, has been traditionally used in abdominal pain, sputum laxative, wounds and diarrhea colic disorder. This study was conducted to isolate and to investigate anti-mutagenic activity of some flavanones from K. rotunda.

Methods: The milled dried rhizoma of K. rotunda (3 kg) was extracted exhaustively with methanol. The methanol extract was partitionated three times by n-hexane, chloroform, and ethyl acetate respectively. Each fraction was fractionated by vacuum liquid chroma-tography (VLC) and purified by column chromatography gravitation. Identification struc-tures of all pure compounds were elucidated based on spectroscopic methods (UV, IR, and NMR) and compared to the spectroscopic previously reported data. Antimutagenic activity test was observed in vivo based on the number of micronucleated polychromatic cell erythrocytes (MNPCE) from male Balb-c mice (8e12 week) induced by cyclophosphamide. Results: From the dried and milled rhizoma of K. rotunda, three known flavanones, namely 5-hydroxy-7-methoxyflavanone (1), 7-hydroxy-5-methoxyflavanone (2), and 5,7-dihydrox-yflavanone (3) were isolated. The methanol extract and isolated flavanones from K. rotunda showed significant antimutagenic effect compared to control group.
