Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) held an undergraduate graduation ceremony for the Bojonegoro Regency Village RPL Program on Sunday (17/9) at the Performance Hall of UNY's Faculty of Language, Arts and Culture. Three hundred eighty-four village officials attended the undergraduate graduation with details of 16 people from the Faculty of Education and Psychology, 186 from the Faculty of Social, Law and Political Sciences, and 182 from the Faculty of Economics and Business.

"Highly educated workers tend to be engaged in the formal, tertiary sector (trade and services) in urban areas. Notably, highly educated workers in the primary sector, especially agriculture, tend to decline, or in other words, there is de-agriculturalization in the distribution of highly educated workers. The open unemployment rate in the higher education group is urban and female," said Prof. Anwar Sanusi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia, at the UNY Public Lecture.

A team of UNY students consisting of Andika Roy Rahmawan, Frida Riyandari, Dina Istiana, Riyan Heriyana, Crisna Dewi, and Dwi Prayitno Dewi held a training on making Piscok Lumer (melted chocolate banana) for youth groups in Kwayuhan, Sleman. Entrepreneurship is highly supported by the government these days. There are many ways to become an entrepreneur including becoming a home worker. Home worker is someone who carries out activity carried out primarily by women, and family members for generations starting from grandmothers, and mothers to daughters by running a business. "The certified independent study and internship (MSIB) program is a bridge for students to prepare themselves to become professional practitioners, entrepreneurs, academics, or freelancers. Students must be prepared to face technological, socio-cultural, labor, and environmental challenges. Internship activities also open up opportunities for students to get a job offer before graduation," said Ria Aprilia, M.Psi. as MSIB manager. PT Best Agro International, which is engaged in oil palm plantations, embraces UNY in meeting the needs of teachers for schools in Central Kalimantan. The recruitment was held at IKA Building of UNY, Thursday (12/1). According to the Secretary of the Directorate of Academic Affairs, Student Affairs and Alumni of UNY, Kristiyono, this collaboration is one of the activities in empowering UNY alumni in finding jobs. Recruitment was carried out online and offline, followed by a total of 36 people, of which 6 people followed it offline.

A total of 30 companies open job vacancies for various levels of education, from high school to undergraduate.
