In the attempt to broaden students’ knowledge in non formal and early children education, students of Master’s Program in Non-formal Education year 2014 held visitation on 23 – 26 August 2015 to the neighbouring countries. Singapore and Malaysia become the destinations, with the focus on Indonesia – Singapore School and Indonesian Embassy for Singapore. On Friday (11/9/2015), YSU congratulated the most outstanding students of 2015 who are going to depart and join Sit-in and Exposure Program at De La Salle University-Dasmariñas (DLSU-D). The nine selected students will be supervised by Nur Insani, M.Sc., as the Secretary of Office of International Affairs and Partnership, and Suhandoyo, M.S. as the Vice Dean for Student Affairs of Faculty of Mathematics and Science YSU. On Friday, 11 September 2015, Darmasiswa and Developing Countries Partnership students joined their first culture class. In this class, they learnt and practiced Angklung, one of traditional musical instruments from West Java, Indonesia. The class was given by Panca Putri Rusdewanti, M.Pd, a lecturer of Music Education, Faculty of Languages and Arts, YSU. The English Camp 2015 was officially closed on Sunday (6/9/15), in a farm surrounded with Zalacca plants and the relaxing voice of splash water from the river in Pulesari village, Turi, Sleman. The theme of "Water Dries, the World Cries," is in accordance with the tourist village that accentuates this water tour. Shizuoka - 2015 Student Formula Japan (SFJ) was held from 1 to 5 September and then officially ended on Saturday (5/9/2015). Housed in Meeting Room of Vice Rector 1, YSU, 4 students of Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) Malaysia was warmly greeted in the Orientation and Welcoming Ceremony: Reciprocal Teaching Practice Program on Monday (7/9/2015). Garuda F15, a formula car built by Yogyakarta State University students has successfully passed a series of inspection tests in 2015 Student Formula Japan (SFJ).
