UNY is committed to supporting the development of green technology. One of the results was the UNY Inobike bike. To ensure Inobike reliability in actual use, on January 7, 2021, the Faculty of Engineering UNY, held a mass trial which 100 participants attended. This activity is carried out on a limited basis while still referring to the Covid-19 prevention protocol. Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta(UNY) students have successfully made an electric bicycle named "Inobike UNY". This bicycle can travel up to 40 kilometers (km) with charging for approximately 2 hours. The INOBIKE UNY bicycle is an early example of research integrated with learning and community service.
