The Minister of Village, Drs. Abdul Halim Iskandar, M.Pd send-off UNY students who will take part in the 2020 community service and teaching practice program. The ceremony was symbolically marked by the delivery of books and masks to 4 student representatives namely Niken Mustika Rini and Dodi Kurniawan representatives of community service students and Awang Nakulanang and Syifa Syifa Al Kautsar student representative of teaching practice program. The ceremony was held at the UNY Auditorium on Saturday (6/27).

According to the Rector of UNY Prof. Sutrisna Wibawa, this activity was attended by 4397 students in their respective regions throughout Indonesia. "The most widely available in DIY are 1902 students," said Sutrisna Wibawa. Followed by Central Java 1445 students, East Java 267 students, West Java 160 students, Lampung 84 students and South Sumatra 71 students. Involving 108 lecturers with online model mentoring.
