Joyful faces were clearly expressed by students of 4th,5th, and 6th grade, Muhammadiyah Kemadang Elementary School, Gunung Kidul. The reason was the visit of 9 international students from varying countries on Tuesday (4/5). One of the Darmasiswa awardees from Uzbekistan Islomjon Mulajonov stated that this event was very positive activity. Speaking in a very fluent Bahasa Indonesia “It needs to be done every year”. In the class, he taught some vocabularies in Uzbekistan while presenting some stimulating games.
The visit of international students to the school was not the first and the only international experience for the children. Sartono explained recently his students met and got acquaintance with elementary school students from Australia who visited a beach near the school for vacation.
