Number of Graduate Programs Applicants Increases

In the first term of the student enrollment at YSU graduate school, 541 applicants joined the entrance test conducted on February 15th 2015. The test consisted of two parts that academic potential test and English test, whereas for doctoral programs applicants an interview was required in addition to the previous tests. The biggest percentage of the applicants enrolled for Master’s program in Educational Sciences.
Compared to the first enrollment term in the previous academic year, this term showed the growing number of applicants by 35%. The other dominantly selected programs by applicants are master’s programs in Mathematics Education, Basic Education, Sport Education, and Indonesian Language and Education. This growth is also affected by the opening of several new programs at master’s level.
In this selection, the graduate school has also applied a tight selection process to meet the desired standards and improve the quality of future graduates.
