 The annual drama performances of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Department has begun. This year’s performances will be of five performancing teams. They are Bahtera ‘the Ark’ theatre, Cermin ‘the Mirror’ theatre, Topeng ‘the Mask’ theatre, Sinawang ‘the one seen from far away’ theatre, and Arcana theatre.  Tangguh Wicaksono, a student of Mechatronics Education Department, and his team mate, Hermawan Andrianto, won a silver medal in the Asean Skill Competition X in Vietnam for Industrial Control category. After joining the preparation and training stage for as long as 10 months at CIVET, West Java, they succeeded to win the second place in the category.  To improve the quality of education in Indonesia, the government has launched the 2013 curriculum for primary and secondary education levels. The approach applied in this curriculum is different from the previous curriculum that is scientific approach. |

 The students of make up and beauty therapy department, YSU Faculty of Engineering presented their final projects in the Legend of Minak Djinggo and Damar Wulan show at the YSU auditorium on Tuesday (November 11th, 2014. Hurin Chya Adni, the chief of the committee said that the legend was wrapped in an attractive and modern performance and it was hoped that it would attract the youth to preserve the tradtional culuture. |

 Promoting Education and Nurturing Diversity was the theme of this year's Global Culture Festival hosted by YSU.  The Research and Technology Student Activity Unit has once again proven their ability in the Indonesian Energy Marathon Challenge, (IEMC 2014).
