On Monday (7/3/2016), housed in Abdullah Sigit, Faculty of Education, Yogyakarta State University (YSU), an information session on study in Aichi University of Education (AUE) Japan was held. The agenda was designed to promote the study in AUE Japan. Representing AUE were Prof. Kazuhiro Doki, Yoshitaka Kozuka, and Kenji Iwamitsu. Prof. Kazuhiro Doki as the Deputy Director for International Exchange also allowed question-answer session for the attendees. Over 90 students of varying departments in YSU joined the event.

The question-answer session was full with inquiries regarding student exchange in Japan. Prof. Kazuhiro Doki answered the inquiry by offering short-visit for two months. Through the short-visit, hopefully the students could be interested in pursuing Master degree in AUE. He added that living cost in Japan is 10.000 Yen or IDR 9 to 10 millions per month.

Some English Literature students of YSU also asked for the opportunity to study the subject further in Japan. Prof. Kazuhiro Doki who is the lecturer in the subject really supported students who want to enroll in English Literature in Japan. He ascertained most students in Japan enthusiastically speak English. Thus, YSU should have no worry on the language barrier, particularly the inability in speaking Japanese language.

Before ending the information session, Prof. Kazuhiro Doki displayed a video profile of AUE. Then, students were also allowed to have photo session with those AUE delegates. (andre)
