YSU Grabs the 7th Rank in National Student Scientific Week

In this XXVIII Pimnas (National Student Scientific Week), YSU managed to make a resounding accomplishment with 3 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze medals. Prof. Dr. Sumaryanto, M. Kes. in his capacity as the Vice Rector III YSU, stated in brief that 3 gold medals were achieved in two categories, 2 for poster and 1 for presentation. Two silver medals were attained in two categories, 1 for presentation and 1 for poster 1, while bronze medal was won in the poster category.

October 2 2015 is declared as the National Batik Day. Batik is internationally acclaimed heritage from Indonesia. To appreciate the special day, YSU international students contributed on the day by attending Batik Class. Exactly two years, Arvida Rizzqie Hanita stayed in Germany. After graduated from the German Language Education, Faculty of languages and Arts, Yogyakarta State University in 2013, she decided to depart to German, who was the winning country of 2014 World Cup. Now, the girl has come beck to Indonesia and is amoung thousands of people selected in Gerakan Indonesia Mengajar (Indonesia Teaches Movement) XI.
